One trail. Three ways to think.

Meet Fill Trail: 450 puzzles about finding a path, making a choice, and seeing a familiar grid differently.

A dot marks the beginning. An outlined square marks the end. Between them lies a small puzzle: how can one continuous trail fill every required square and reach the finish last? That is the starting point of Fill Trail, a line puzzle game from Paper Mew.

Start with a line

In Fill, the board asks you to plan a route through every required square. A nearby finish can be tempting, but reaching it too soon leaves part of the puzzle unfinished. You can retrace your steps and try another route as the shape of the solution becomes clearer.

Three ways to explore

  • Fill — find a continuous route through the required squares.
  • Squeeze — choose one of two neighboring ink squares; filling one blocks the other.
  • Teleport — enter a portal and continue from its paired exit, connecting parts of the board that are not beside each other.

Each mode contains 150 puzzles, divided into Easy, Normal and Hard groups of 50. Together, the three modes offer 450 boards built around different ways of thinking about a route.

A little help, without taking over

Undo and restart make it possible to reconsider a decision. When you need a nudge, a hint reveals the final stretch of a possible solution, leaving the rest of the route for you to work out.

Paper, pencil, and a little curiosity

Fill Trail brings together the grid, the drawn line and the satisfaction of a completed shape. It is an invitation to look at a small board, wonder what might work, and follow that thought one square at a time.
